Smashing pumpkins fan guitar?

Is it true that fender is going to release a billy corgan signature strat? If so, what are the special features of it such as the pickups and everything and when is it going to be released. Also, what guitar should i get to get that pumpkin's sound? Like single coils or humbuckers? Cause james used a tele, an sg, and a les paul while billy usually used that strat.
