Which guitar tube amp to match my playing style?
I play a range of music anything from chili peppers to stevie ray but I'm looking for a good value tube amp.
Today I tried out the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I love the amp. Im looking for something very similar with a vintage clean tone at all volumes but the ability to tweak the tones to a range through twang, distortion, jazz, blues, ect.
Any other good amps out there around or under the price range of a Hot Rod that are VERY SIMILAR? I'm looking to spend no more than 600 so I'll probably have to buy used.
Yes the twin reverb is an amazing amp, however I can't afford something in that price range. Definately looking for the clean vintage fender tone but the same price range used.
hmmm, perhaps you and I are on the same page. Only id say im from Jimmi Hendrix, to john Mayer, and personally, i am going to save up for the Fender twin reverb. its an awesome amp, and one of the guitar players at my church has it, and he says unless u want to go death metal, its an awesome amp. and if in thecase you want distortion, there are pedals. so id say, Fender Vintage Reissue '65 Twin Reverb Guitar Amp (fender win reverb).

that ones with a les paul, the next is with a strat
if the fenders out of your price range, then go with the vox ac15. (not as good as twin reverb, but still an awesome amp.

good luck, make sure u go to ur local guitar center and try the heck out of the amps. dont be afraid to put the volume up.
