How long is your hospital stay when getting your tubes tied?
Im almost 22 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and im getting my tubes tied. I was just wondering how long you have to stay in the hospital. I heard they dont do it until the day after you have the baby but havent heard how long you have to stay after. A normal stay after having a baby is 2 day (3 if you count the day you have it) just curious as to how much extra time i will have to be in there.
You shouldn't be there any extra time for getting your tubes tied. When I had my tubes tied (a few years after having my last child) it was outpatient surgery. I went to the hospital in the morning, and when I woke up they sent me home.
As long as you have no complications from the pregnancy, or the surgery, you should have a normal 2 day stay in the hospital.
