how much does it cost to fix a warped neck on an electric guitar?
in June of 2009 i got a new Fender Strat electric guitar. it worked great until i left it at school for winter break (it snowed and i couldnt get it cuz school was closed,) and the neck warped during that time. now, the strings touch first 5 frets, making them unplayable. how much does it cost to fix that?
you can try it yourself,,,,, there is a tension bar in the neck,, this may just need tightening!! some guitars have a plastic cover just undet the strings where they go to the tuners,, some have an opening on top or in the back,,, it takes an allen wrench,, screw only 1/4 turn and check the gap..
maybe one more 1/4 turn to get it right,,, other wise the neck may be ruined,, they sell them on ebay in the guitar section!!
