Guitar Neck Truss
Is Stagg L350 a reliable guitar? Need guitarists' opinions. >?
Yesterday I picked up a Stagg L350. Now I see the neck of the guitar is not bolt-on. And I don't see any truss rod either.
How do these factors (no bolt-on neck and lack of truss rod) play into the reliability of the guitar?
Should I go and exchange it for something that has bolt-on neck and truss rod?

Ive found a couple of those guitars on ebay, read some reviews on it, and seems like a decent guitar for the price paid. First off, it does have a truss rod. On the headstock, there should be a plate with 3 or 4 screws. Once that little plate is removed, you will see the truss rod. The adjustment of that should be left to a professional. You could get yourself into some real trouble if you didn't know what you were doing.
As far as a no bolt on neck goes, don't worry about it. The Paul Reed Smith "Paul's 28 Limited Edition" with a list price of 36,000.00 does not have a bolt on neck. Set necks and neck thru body is very common amongst manufacturers.
