Input Jack
Where is the AUX input jack in a stock 6-cd changer stereo for an 06 Ford Focus?
I was told it was down by the cigarette lighter but I don't even have one of those, just a power adapter that's up on the faceplate of the stereo. I have an AUX button but I can't seem to find the input anywhere. It says in the manual that there's an input jack but it doesn't say where. Help!
Generally it's mounted right on the front of the dash, or possibly in the glovebox, or center console. If it's not there, then it's not installed, and requires a harness that attaches to the back of the radio. This Adaptor (Called a Ford CAN-BUS Adapter) can be purchased at most stereo shops.
