i was involved in car crash 3 years ago! had an offer but not atall happy given the scaring etc!?

i was a passenger in car and it was involved in a rta! i sustained injurys,was taken to hospital and spent 3 days there had operation to my forearm,which involved putting a metal plate,i have 7inch scar to my arm,also had whiplash muscle and ligament damage to my neck and back soft tissue damage and brising! i have a numb thumb still to date,my solicitors have just informed me that they want to approach the insurers with a suggested offer rarther than wait for an offer to come from them! this offer is 6900 with the intention to accept 5000???? please help and tell me if u think this is reasonable given the fact that my freind was in the same car and had only whiplash and recived a 3000 cheque with in 6 months! i had physio for 3 months and had childcare for my 2 young kids!

Doesn't sound like much to me but.....No one here can tell you what number to accept. It is purely up to you What would satisfy one person, may be no where enough for another. Asking your question here will only confuse you. Discuss it with your lawyer.
