Panel Switching Jacks
Sound on my Pc's busted, more info?
this is messed up i just switched on my pc and the sound isnt working ... everything is plugged in and the computer has detected sound but nothing ...... i even rebooted a few times.
btw my speakers are inside my monitor (screen)
does anyone know what might be wrong?
ive checked control panel and the device is working perfectly, whats weird is that my computers told me a jack has been plugged in for the 50th time now (and unplugged) and it keeps asking me to confirm the connected device ..... could there be a problem with the connection port? if so how can i identify it?
sounds like there is a problem with either the speaker port or the jack plug.
have you any other speakers or headphones you can plug in to test?
if it is the speaker port then you can get a sound card fitted in your pc (or do it yourself, tis quite easy)
