Pickup Height Screw
Can anyone tell me what useful purpose it serves to 'lift' a 4x4 pickup truck?
I have owned dozens of 4x4 vehicles over the years and never needed anything more than stock ride height for driving in snow and extreme weather conditions, as well as off-road service and towing.
As I see it, all you are doing by 'lifting' a truck is raising the center of gravity and screwing up the handling capabilities of the truck, decreasing fuel mileage and making it less safe to operate on public roadways.
Get your puppy ass off the porch and come run with the big dogs and you will see why stock ride height doesn't cut it. That's fine if YOU never needed any lift. My daily driver is an '08 silverado and its stock but when it comes to the play toys a gravel road does not constitute off-road. Have you seriously never buried a truck in the mud to the frame?
