Pointer Knobs
Help with guitar amp settings?
Yes, I have basically what you'd call a beginner guitar set, a fender squier stratocaster and squier 10 watt amp which has an overdrive button, treble and bass knobs, and the main volume. The strat has The 2 tone knobs and the main volume knobs on it. I've been playing for around a month now and am a big fan of Nirvana. I have learned a few of their songs and even fewer from start to finish.
However, I was wondering if anyone who has experienced an amp like mine could give me the best setting for the song Smells Like Teen Spirit. I obviously know overdrive is going to be included but am not sure what to put all the knobs to, (i.e. the treble, bass, guitar volume knob, amp volume). So if anyone could please give me some pointers on what to set these to in order to get the best sound for Smells Like Teen Spirit on the amp I specified, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm getting a new practice amp soon, and hopefully won't have this much trouble with it. Thanks alot.
Just get a BOSS DS-1 and you'll be set.
