ok so i've been thinkin about this for a while now... i've got an all black P-Project guitar (it sounds crappy but it plays/ looks/ sounds great) and i think it'd be PERFECT if i put a thin jackson neck on it (preferrably the maple/ black kind like on DK2Ms.) once i add an emg81 the entire pickguard area will be matte; the body is gloss. so the question is, would you prefer a light or dark neck?

It depends on what you like to play... If you like playing fast then go with a neck with a maple fret board. Otherwise, if you want more tone and play slower then go for a neck with an ebony fretboard.
Personally, I think the light colored neck looks better with a dark colored body.
