Strat Vintage Style
Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Strat HSS, is good ?
Hey i have been playing for a bit more then year now and my guitar is YAMAHA ERG 121C and i am thinking of an upgrading my gear a bit .I am considering getting an Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Strat HSS because i have always wanted a "Fender" since the first day i started playing the guitar .I play mainly punk rock (Blink 182,Sum 41,The Offspring) ,the other guitar i have my eye on is Cort X-11 .
So my question is which is better and why for punk rock style of playing ,and if none of them are give me and advice for what to look for (pickup,wood-wise) ?

I wouldn't suggest getting a Squier, even in the high ends.
You're probably looking for a guitar that'll last you a long time before you purchase your next guitar.
If you want a fender, you can get a used Fender Standard Strat for around 250~350
I would suggest something from the Ibanez RG Series, it's really verstile, the pickups are..decent enough to play on.
But if you're locked on to those two guitars, go for the Cort.
