Does two subwoofers mean 2 times the bass output?
Im running a single monoblock class d amplifier its an Alpine MRD-m1005 to a single 12" Alpine Type R 2 ohm DVC sub in a plexi glass type box.....would it be a big difference to add one more Type R? does this double the output? and not only that wouldnt i then be able to wire them in series for a 2 ohm impedence instead of 4? also my subs would be less likely to blow becuse im distributing the power to 2 subs right?would i get more sound output at lower gain and bass levels than with just the single sub?
also its not possible to wire just a single 2 ohm dual voice coil sub to 2 ohms is it?i need two of the 2 ohms or one 4 ohm dvc right?
Well it does and does not. It will mostly give you more, yes ad louder.
Really stick with two subs and 4 speakers and one amp, you're set to wow some people.
