Squier Fat Strat or Squier Strat?
ok I asked my friend whose played guitar for about 5 years and he owns about 3 on which guitar I should get for a beginner sice im just startin
he said get a squier fat strat he started out with a les paul and soon after he got a squier fat strat and said it was great
not that the les paul is bad but he meant the fat strat would be great for beginners
I cant get a fender(its too much) so squier will have to do
I'm into all kinds of Rock(Hendrix, Buckethead,Wolfmother,AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine, White Stripes, Velvet revolver, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and etc.)
so which one should I get for my music taste the Fat strat or STRAT
Hey. I've played guitar for 32 years and one thing I've found out is that it doesn't matter what name is on the head stock of the guitar or how "cool" it is, if it feels comfortable to you and you like the way it plays, then that's the one for you. You need to go out to a store and play all of them to see if you like 'em. Now as for the "sound" you want, that's a different thing. Seems like from the list you like a Les Paul sound. Slash, and Jimmy Page. But then you like Hendrix with the Stratocaster and then back to a Gibson SG and Angus Young. It's all a matter of taste isn't it? Get the one YOU want. And don't limit yourself to those two brands. There are alot of guitars out there that are moderately priced that can give you a similar sound to what you like that play beautifully. Take your time and get something you won't regret buying. I hope I helped you a little. Good luck.
