Texas Special Pickups for Telecaster?

Hey, I have a MIM telecaster and am thinking about getting new pickups. I have heard about the vintage noiseless pickups, the texas special pickups, and seymour duncan pickups and would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of each.I play mainly hard rock and blues rock, but occasionally metal. Any and all help and advice would be much appreciated!
I was thinking about a configuration similar to that but I am worrying if it will completely alter the sound and get rid of the telecaster "twang", as that is the main reason I bought a telecaster.

I can appreciate your concern. The reason to have a Tele is the twang. I suggest you read the user reviews at Harmony Central written by folks who actually own those. One note of caution, the Texas specials come in Strat and Tele versions. I do not think they are the same. I would be cautious about putting Start pickups into your Tele. If you wanted the Strat sound, you would have bought a Strat. I know Seymour Duncan does make some good Tele pickups. I don't have them, but am considering those myself for my next Tele project.
